Teri-Lynn Nelson - Personal Trainer
While some kids grow up with a pool or trampoline in the backyard, Teri-Lynn had an ice rink (clearly this was winter in Ontario). No surprise, it ignited her love for being on the ice, whether it be figure skating competitively, playing hockey or skiing. Her summers were spent playing soccer, golf, and tennis. While at Brock University Teri-Lynn competed as a varsity cross-country athlete while continuing her other sports, and finding a love for weightlifting. After university BC became the perfect landing pad, enabling Teri-Lynn to enjoy all her sports year round!
Working as a personal trainer since 2010, Teri-Lynn has helped a full range of clients overcome injuries and health issues, as well as reach their fitness goals. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, she excels at teaching and motivating others, especially when leading group training programs.

When not training her clients or group coaching, you’ll still usually find Teri-Lynn in the gym doing CrossFit, Olympic lifting, hitting some heavy deadlifts, or playing around with skill work. Otherwise, she’ll be outside playing soccer, tennis, golf, or maybe at an arena figure skating.
One of Teri-Lynn’s goals is to handstand walk across the length of the gym, so you’ll often see her upside down practicing. Teri-Lynn is also on a road to hit a provincial record in her deadlift. She’s aiming to lift over 3x her bodyweight. Stay tuned!
