Personal Trainer Vancouver - Rachel Chew
Rachel has 14 years of sports and exercise experience. Growing up competing in the provincial level for cross-country running, she recognized early how impactful coaches are to her athletic drive, performance, and successes. As an athlete, her interest in holistic nutrition and wellness grew organically; she went into university initially to pursue naturopathic medicine, but found herself finding so much joy in inspiring others through fitness during her undergrad years participating in various ultramarathons and triathlons. This has led her to the fitness industry soon after graduation. Since then, she has trained clients of all walks of life at a community gym in Burnaby. She also coaches group functional fitness in North Vancouver.
Rachel exudes sincere care, positive energy, and a driving passion to keep her clients motivated toward their goals. Having trained at Engineered Bodies Strength and Conditioning for several years, her training style emphasizes compound movements, proper mechanics and technique, plus conditioning that will take your breath away! She’s known to have you laughing at least once during your workout.

Aside from being an outdoor junkie, you can find Rachel climbing some rocks indoors, baking granola, attempting yoga, helping out at church, sweating through her own workouts…all done in a big smile.
