Personal Trainer Vancouver and Crossfit Vancouver Instructor- Teri-Lynn Nelson
Growing up in Ontario with a backyard ice rink ignited Teri-Lynn’s love for sports. Winters were spent on the ice: figure skating competitively, skiing, and playing backyard hockey with her siblings until having to be called in after dark. Other months of the year were filled with soccer, golf, and tennis. While at Brock University, Teri-Lynn competed as a varsity cross-country athlete while also finding a love for lifting weights. After graduating university, Vancouver became the perfect city for Teri-Lynn to enjoy her sports all year round, and continue her passion for coaching.
Working as a personal trainer since 2010, Teri-Lynn has helped a wide range of clients work on their fitness goals, whether it be overcoming an injury, increasing strength, improving endurance, or becoming more athletic. She specializes in expanding your CrossFit, Powerlifing, Olympic Lifting, and gymnastics skills. As an Ontario Certified Teacher, our CrossFit Vancouver expert instructor excels at coaching and motivating others, especially while leading group training programs.
Teri-Lynn is one of our Nutrition Coaches, certified through Precision Nutrition and can help you incorporate healthy eating as part of your complete fitness plan.
Teri-Lynn loves expanding upon her fitness knowledge through research, continued education and additional certifications so that she can offer the best possible training experience. She strives to pass on her success, enthusiasm, positive attitude, and love for fitness to her clients. Teri-Lynn loves to give tough workouts that are yet also fun. Ask any of her athletes, and they will tell you that she can often be quoted saying, “you can go heavier.”

When not training her clients or group coaching, you’ll still usually find Teri-Lynn in the gym doing CrossFit, Powerlifting, or gymnastics. She also trains in jujitsu and Muay Thai. She has experience competing in Olympic Lifting but more recently has been competing in and coaching Powerlifting meets. Teri-Lynn loves lifting heavy, but you will also often catch her upside down practicing handstands.
