Client Spotlight: Kyle Barnes

This month, we are proud to spotlight our member, Kyle Barnes. Kyle has been working with personal trainer, Craig Boyd, and is extremely happy with his results over the past 6 months. Though he has worked out all of his life, he was excited to experience a wider range of results with personal attention and motivation from Craig.
Working with Craig is easy for Kyle since Precision Athletics manages the gym at the building that he works in. A heart-pumping workout session before or after work is easy, as his desk is just a few steps away from his place of work! Craig has been proud of the work that Kyle has put in over the past few months, and looks forward to witnessing more of his progress in the near future.
What made you want to get started on your fitness journey?
I always wanted to be healthy and be in good shape, however I always struggled with my diet and eating junk food. Unfortunately, I had few health scares and the doctor warned me that I needed to improve my diet and get in better shape.
Did you do any exercise prior to working with Precision Athletics?
Yes, I worked out all my life. I started lifting weights when I was 13 years old and also participated in swimming and running .
What has your experience been with exercise prior to working with Craig?
Before I started working out with Craig, I would run and lift weights however I never got the real
results I wanted.
Why did you choose to work with a personal trainer?
I have been working out all my life and never got the results I wanted. I always struggled with my diet and my doctor was warning me that I needed to improve my health or face serious future health issues. I wanted to finally reach my health and fitness goal and that is why I started with Craig.
How long have you been training and what have your results been like?
I have been training with Craig for 6 months and since then I have gotten more defined. I have gone down in pant size. My stomach is smaller. I’ve lost 23 pounds. I went for a check-up with my doctor and my blood pressure and cholesterol have gone down. I feel way better, fitter, and healthy.
How do you feel about your results?
I’m very satisfied with my results so far. Craig is a great trainer and I am grateful for his help and support.
What has been the most challenging part of the journey?
I struggle with my diet. Eating bad food has always been a struggle for me but I have found some healthy foods I like and have done way better with my eating since I worked with Craig.
