The spotlight is on pure strength in this Powerlifting class, while working on your squat, bench press, and deadlift. Our groups are small with a maximum eight people so you get lots of hands-on coaching and pointers.

Whether you want to compete in powerlifting, Crossfit, or just improve your raw lifting power, these small group training classes will help you achieve your fitness goals. This is powerlifting training in Vancouver for all ages and all sizes.

Powerlifting consists of three major lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. In this small group class you’ll be coached on the fundamentals and finer points of these three lifts, as well as accessory exercises, to increase your strength and proficiency at the three main lifts.

Our Vancouver Powerlifting classes run in 12-week blocks and use periodization to maximize your strength progression. On the final week, we include an in-house mini-meet. Competitive powerlifting competition rules and procedures will also be taught.

This powerlifting class is an excellent opportunity for first time lifters as well as athletes looking to compete in a powerlifting meet up to national level.

The exercises provide many benefits for both men and women of all fitness levels. These exercises will increase your bone density, as well as strengthen and build muscle. They will also increase your metabolism and help with fat loss and toning.
