Trainer Tip: Mindset in Fitness

The story of my client Adam is the perfect example of what being in the right mindset can really do for your fitness. I think many people struggle with having a positive mindset or attitude when they exercise without really knowing it. For example, they will tell their trainer that they can’t lift a certain weight before even trying it. Or they will complain that their workout is too difficult. They have convinced themselves that they aren’t capable of doing what they actually have the potential to do. The mind is the most important muscle to help you succeed in fitness. That’s the difference that I see between clients that experience results, versus those that don’t. Having the desire to workout, the mental strength and the determination to succeed, will help you achieve your goals. Pepe Picco is the co-founder of Precision Athletics.
